Really really really enjoy this thing now that it's all dialed in but out of the box, it has to have one of the worst detent ramp transitions I've ever felt. Blows my mind that I can't find a single mention of it anywhere online. The end up the ramp is met with a very steep and very noticable cliff that the detent ball has to climb before it sits on level ground on the tang of the blade. RJ could have smoothed this out and maybe he had reasons for why he didn't but goddamn it drove me nuts. The blade would fall about halfway and park. It would require a very deliberate shake to get past and that cliff and then free fall shut to close. Not what I look for in good action. I'd rather have no detent ramp at all. Anyway, after a bunch of time getting it tuned to my preferences, it's FANTASTIC and the detent is STOUT.

Next up is a zirbast and burnish on the blade because this satin (semi polished) finish is a fingerprint magnet but the raw finish on the scales is glorious!
