I know you gus like when I post these, and I just managed to find a searchlight I’ve been after for a very long time. Here is a near perfect condition CT Ham No. 40 Mammoth searchlight from the 1890s. It has nearly 100% of its original green paint and stenciling, and a very rare HAM marked globe.
That’s super cool. I have some old railroad lanterns I collected quite a few years back. The history of light is actually pretty interesting and what it was like before artificial light.
