Before I scratch up the retaining ring more than I have, has anyone had trouble removing this from the MAO S2+? Granted i am trying to use tweezers and various watchmaking tools, but i have heard people taking them out with nails and this thing won’t budge?? Reverse threads correct? Trying to put in a metal lighted switch.

Yeah the threads on the MAO stuff is a little rough, I’d use snap ring pliers.
My copper/brass S2+ stuff is much smoother than my MAO T4.
