This is my first attempt at regrinding any blade. Original post I explained that I lot the tip cutting through post-it notes (right??) but that I think there had been a small crack that I didn’t notice from an accidental drop on concrete early that week. Decided to try and bring the spine down to meet the break. I figured that leaving it closer to the classic “beak” or sheep’s foot shape would leave a little more steel behind the tip to prevent this from happening again, but without loosing a ton of material or ending up with a full cleaver cutting edge. Not sure if this falls closer to a modified, sheep’s foot, or revers tanto grind, but I like it so far! Even attempted to give that last section of the spine a slight crown and round it off, which was dumb because now I need to clean that up, but either way I don’t think it’s awful for my first time, and I’m just trying to beat the r/prybar accusations as fast as I can 😂 where would you guys go from here? Leave it as is?

I like it. Nicely done.
Looks great! What was your process?
IMHO it looks better than original. Great recovery 👌🏻
I think it looks very well done. Certainly better than anything I could have done. Cheers
Are you kidding? Great job, bro! I doubt you lost even 1/4″ of cutting surface. This is a great little knife. Glad you were able to save it.
