Thanks for doing this. I’m always questioning if my steel is what it says it is on certain knives. I’d certainly be more likely to buy from companies that are consistently meeting the optimum HRC for the type of steel.
A lot of HRC machines are definitely sketch like you say. If you know, what’s the cheapest reliable HRC testing machine someone can pick up on their own?
