i just put it on the fire brick in the basement. i built a few 24v packs out of vape cells. lithium will melt steel. not sure how a stock pot would fare, but i know from experience that both sand and galvanized steel buckets melt quickly.

I wouldn’t use my favorite charger… lol… I would use my $14 Fenix one cell charger powered by a power bank in an ammo can outside. Unsupervised has to be outside in a fireproof container on concrete away from anything flammable.
