It’s the steel that causes the upcharge. Incredibly hard (I assume they grind post heat treat) and a pain for tooling, etc.

For some reason, they had a massive increase (36.8-37.5%) specifically on the Rex 121 sages. The Salt also is going up almost 20% for 2026.
