This Venom – T was amazing for its age – great mechanics, aggressive blade profile, nice handles, which were mirror polished with entropic anodisation. This was the weakest point of the knife, a scratch magnet, ruining the visage after some time on pocket.
Sent it to my friend for a brief SPA, he blackened the handle with some acids, and made sure the top cross surface never scratches again. So he scratched it himself a million times, making nice pseudo CrystalTi surfaces (on the pivot and backspacer also). Little standoff pins are flamed.
