Recieved these two little things today; Mini sailor lite & S11 pro. I got the Mini sailor lite to have as a travel friendly/ legal carry multitool. S11 pro will probably either stay on my desk for small jobs or will go into a tiny toolkit. Time will tell. I do plan on using it though.

These do feel quite solid for their size and the blade on the s11 pro is suprisingly sharp, even though most reviews say that it's dull out of the box. It did cut paper without tearing it, which is just about as sharp as I need my knives to be. I really like the file on the S11 pro. I do wish they'd be able put one on the Lite, as that would really make it the ultimate bladeless tool.

Both do need a little bit of lubricating. Or at least the scissors do, as they feel a bit rough when folding them out. The scissors on both will cut paracord but my 58mm Victorinox scissors seem to outperform them by a little. I like the folding mechanism.

The plier heads are indeed a little thicker on the S11 pro. I measured the thickness at the hinge to be 4,1mm, compared to the 3,6mm thickness of the Lite. ~2,7mm at the tip vs ~2,2mm on the Lite. Both feel pretty solid and I don't feel like I'm going to break them when squeezing them. I don't expect these to be used in any particularly tough environments in my ise, so I'm pretty confident they'll last. I was so bummed I missed out on all the small Leatherman tools since they stopped the production on all of them before I got a chance to buy any of them. These fill that desire for tiny multitools very nicely.

What are your opinions on these two and Nextool overall? I appreciate that they listen to their customers and work with EDC channels and are willing to upgrade and improve their tools.
