The nitecore is just better. It’s not that it’s particularly amazing, I’m just surprised by how bad the pokelit is. The UI on the pokelit is unbearable but the main issue is the tail switch. It feels like there is gravel and sand in the switch mechanism or something. Just mushy and bad. The nitecore tail switch is perfect in comparison. Just the most satisfying, high quality click every time. I’d feel bad even giving away the pokelit to someone, it’s probably destined for the random stuff shelf.

Currently waiting on a lumintop tool, convoy t7, and d3aa to also test in this 14500 battery range.

I can’t tell if my Pokelit AA has a delay when turning on or if the switch travel is just so long and mushy that I can’t tell when it’s finally engaged.

Everything else about the light seems decent, but the switch experience is just terrible.

M150 v4 is my go to 14500. Convoy is nice for a cheaper option.

Manker E05 II, also worth a look.

Isn’t the Nitecore literally double the price of the Pokelit? That’s like comparing apples to twice the amount of apples then being surprised you get fuller from eating double the amount of apples.

I think my Pokelit AA (219C 5000k) is great… Idk maybe I have bad taste or something.

The button travel is long but it’s really smooth. The UI is simple but very usable and mode memory is good so I’m not blinded when I use it. I usually have it set to moonlight.

I did not like the switch and UI on a Ti Pokelit I tried ..

the last mode memory meant I never knew what mode it would turn on at, unless I made a point of always turning off on low.. and that meant cycling the modes, either way

personally also not a fan of forward clicky, nor the raised and exposed button..

I do like the USB battery

The person I sold it to Loves them, and bought mine as a backup.. so.. different strokes..
