Looks like an older John Martini filet knife. They made several different sizes. I have one that’s over 80 years old.

It’s a Rapala filet knife. Made in Sweden if memory serves. I have one downstairs in the kitchen, it’s 40+ years old and still razor sharp. It’s a keeper.

fairly common mass market Martiini fillet knife. they’re fine. made in Finland. nothing really special about it, it’s just a pretty decent fillet knife.

Quality blade. Totally worth hanging onto.

Great fillet knife I have several. You could saddle soap the sheath and then when it drys out put some leather beef tallow wax on it to keep it from deteriorating

Lmao their $14 at Walmart bud I just got one cuz I needed a quick fillet knife. Their trash.

  7. Janne Marttiini fillet knife. The sheath reads Marttiini and Finland and the blade writing is J. Marttiini Finland (probably, hard to see) and Hand ground. The handle seems to have a faint Rapala marking. Rapala is Finnish fishing lure company that sometime sold Marttiinis with their logo stamped through their marketing and with their other fishing gear. No idea about the age. Marttiini still makes these same or similar fillet knives.

It is a Rapala-branded fillet knife made by J. Martini. I have one in my fishing bag. You can still get them on Amazon. They are inexpensive, but they will work quite well for their intended purpose!
