Did a little research and was looking into getting the Weltool F8R because of its range , brightness, run time and size, wanted something I could at least shove in a pocket and see a good distance ahead. Primarily gonna use it around my property to watch my dog at night and night walks in the woods. Before I pull the trigger, I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions or any info from someone that has one. Thanks in advance.

An review of one. Looks pretty ace and somewhat exceeding its candela rating.
It’s a pretty expensive light just for checking the backyard or going for walks. You can pick up a [**Wurkkos TS28**](https://wurkkos.com/products/wurkkos-ts28-3200-lumens-506m-edc-flashlight?srsltid=AfmBOooRJ9O9UF0h107QUNeN-c_EVf4gbq-G86Mcj_omNMl3hwvT8KcU&VariantsId=12102) for about $34, which can sustain pretty much the same output for around 2 hours. It also has great throw on both its sustained high mode and turbo.
Plus, the TS28 features a USB-C port, an IP68 rating, and a convenient side switch, making it a very practical, and cheap alternative.
