Hello everyone,
I am hereby sharing my detailed chronicle of two absolute masterpieces from the Khukuri House (KHHI). If you haven't heard of them, KHHI are the premier Nepalese Kamis who have been forging blades since 1989 (and whose lineage goes back centuries). They are the evolution and the keepers of a tradition so ancient that no one knows for sure when the first Khukuri was hammered into existence.
These two blades represent the perfect balance between Modern Evolved Lethality and Efficient Tradition:
– The 3 Chirra "Beast": A raw, unpolished force of nature. The word "Chirra" refers to the deep fullers forged into the blade, designed to reduce weight while increasing structural integrity, aviation, and swing velocity. It is a chopper built for the end of the world.
– The World War Historic: A gleaming tribute to military heritage. Finished in a mirror polish with a royal brass pommel, this blade carries the soul of the Gurkhas who carried it into battle. It is pristine, lethal, and elegant.
In my review, I go deep into the "Forge Unleashed" concept—exploring not just the specs, but the spiritual connection to the steel, the "Cho" symbolism, and the tactical application of these heavy hitters.

Let me know if you have tried a Khukuri or other blades from the KHHI. I’d love to hear your experiences with Nepalese steel!
Cheers!

I just got the “Throwing” Kukri from EGKH and it is about the same size as the 3 Chira. Beast is right. Also Boat Anchor (in a nice way). Absolutely massive knife. With a slight reprofile and edge touch up it does cut like a monster though. Course its also about 2lbs
