I was given this dagger that is actually pretty decent, but the chain that wraps around my belt is flimsy. Could I replace it with anything? Could I reinforce it somehow?

Shoestring, paracord, leather cord, take that chain out.
Pretty sure I got that same one on Amazon 10 years ago for 15 bucks😂
