    Ditch the blanket and get a bivvy. They make them now where they even let moisture out. If you must use the blanket, take some wide duct tape, spool it around a straw or something thin to make it more compact, and use it to create a sleeping bag by taping multiple blankets together. They only work if you trap the air/heat.
