Got an old timer today for my EDC. I wanted a bug out bench made, but for the price and the way it felt so cheap I decided against it. Thought I'd get myself a cheap knife and why not old timer.

Cheap knives deserve love too! Love the lines on that one.
Not sure if you’ve seen [these](https://shop.aquariandrumheads.com/products/studio-rings?variant=31885421772843) before. I prefer them over tape. Always gave me a more consistent sound.
That’s probably the first old timer I’ve seen in decades that made me ask “what’s that knife?” upon opening the thread but before reading. Cool design! You’ll dig it I’m sure! And yeah, Bugouts feel so flimsy OOTB… and aftermarket scales may make it good… for the price of the knife plus scales, could’ve gotten a better knife lol.
