Does anyone know the Seemann Sub (SOS Mini 4)?
SOS (SOS S.r.l. Italy): This was one of the most renowned companies for diving instruments in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, based in Turin, Italy. They were world-famous for their depth gauges and compasses.
Seemann Sub (founded in 1979 in Bavaria) imported these lights directly from SOS in Italy and sold them under their own name.
It was a copy of the Princeton Tec TEC 40. It uses a krypton bulb (4xAA).
Diffusers made of soft, self-illuminating material were available for purchase.

Seemann is a bold name. The jokes are nearly endless.
