My s2+ stopped switching modes/fails shortly after reassembly. I could use your thoughts.
-I’m pretty familiar with maintaining edc/hobby lights ie; bad switches, seating the pill and retaining rings etc etc. (I’ve got tons of Rey lights and convoy)
-I almost feel like here, the anodizing on the copper threads on the switch side of the battery tubes has gone off just from normal use? I say this, because I recall the short tube having this issue when I first got it.
-I have another, non lighted switch from convoy that is doing the same.
-photos may have the threads looking “dirty” but I assure you I have cleaned them as much as mechanically possible.
-after reassembly, I can see the tail cap light on for a bit before it dims out. If the actual light works, it’s stuck incdirect drive before it dies.

-I have tried all manner of flipping the tubes
Thanks!
