Absurd that for my favorite knife that needs a blade im supposed to pay $200 and have to give in my old blade… and cant pick blade steel.

Guess i just have to realize that the awfulness of this man and company outweighs how
Much i like the knife

Is this only for custom knives or production knives?

Is Mick even involved with the company or is Marisa the one making Strider knives? I always wanted one but yeah too much drama and scandal behind the brand!

They don’t use any shitty steels while some have better properties than others all striders are great and have a good heat treat. As long as it is the same finish I’d pay it or just buy another.

$175 for a new blade isn’t that bad. It sucks there isn’t variety in steel but I understand why. It’s a small knife company, not Benchmade or Spyderco.
I agree they should let you keep your old blade, Although it could be a liability thing if it’s cracked or if someone tries to make another knife from it and it fails they could be liable.

Yikes. Seeing this is unfortunately not super surprising. I was wanting a Vero Lux 3.3 for awhile. Their collaboration together made me lose all interest.

Do you have a problem with how much the reblade is? How much do you think it should cost

That’s kinda standard for most companies isn’t it? $175 isn’t bad at all if it’s not a warranty thing. If it is warranty, no company I know of lets you keep the broken blade or pick steel type.
*before you all start jumping on the downvote button, I’m not a strider fanboy.*
