Bought this thing in Jan2025 and it didn’t leave my left pocket for a single day. It’s not a particularly powerful flashlight, it’s not tactical, or high preforming. It’s just high CRI enough to help me see veins when doing IV’s, and doesn’t heat up at all, letting me see borders of cysts and other skin inclusions. I’ve used it every night to take the dog out, and I’ve only had to change the AAA batteries once. I’m a chronic flashlight biter and the rubberized cap lets me go hands free without scraping my teeth. It’s been dropped, jostled, rained on, and wiped with harsh chemicals. It’s unassuming, small (but not too small), durable and all around good.👍 Milwaukee 100 lumen penlight

It’s a nice one…😀
Sounds like the right light!
One recommendation: if you’re not already, use rechargeable NiMH batteries for this light and other things. They’re way cheaper in the long run and of course create a lot less waste with basically identical performance. Remember when NiMH chargers sucked and would take a whole ass day to charge the batteries up? Not anymore – you can get a charger that tops each one off individually within an hour or two for $20.
