Saw a post asking if people actually use their EDC gear — here’s my daily reality.
I carry my EDC 99% of the time, whether at work, going out, to weddings and partys, or traveling.

After three years, this is what I actually use daily.
Keys (obviously) and my Outdoor Edge are the real workhorses — I’m a chef, so the knife lives at work and is used constantly as a box cutter to open cartons and packaging, saving my main knives.

Lens wipes and alcohol pads get used almost weekly.
The Leatherman comes next, mostly for the pliers — still an excellent tool.
I still carry a lighter, though I use it far less since I quit smoking.
Some items were removed (like super glue and Painkillers) and moved to drawers because I never used them.

The flashlight gets used every 1–2 weeks and was upgraded from battery to rechargeable after the old one died — great upgrade.
The pen is rarely used since I prefer another one at work, but I keep it because I like it.
Zip ties and duct tape are rarely used, but invaluable when needed (duct tape was added after one year)
The toothpick was upgraded to a push-out version which is much easier to use.

I’ve built this bag with help from the community, and it’s really become a part of me. Even though I use only two items daily, it’s always a joy when I need a tool and it’s right there in my pocket.

Not here to dog you, i personally cringe when i see plastic Calipers, all baby blue and such, but understand they’re heavy and probably not needed for genuine precision.
