I’ve been traveling overseas for well over 10 years and this is where I’ve landed with my international edc. This doesn’t include the basics like my phone, wallet or other personal items. This is more about the “extra” gear I’ve found genuinely useful and worth carrying.

Watch: Casio AE1200WH-1A
Cheap, reliable and not eye catching

Multitool: Leatherman Micra
If knife laws are extremely strict, I’ll leave this behind

Multitool 2: Blue Collar Blades Pocket Pry 3.0
Gets through security (at least in my experience) and is surprisingly useful

Pen: Zebra F-701

Notebook: Field Notes

Flashlight: Foursevens Preon 2
Best penlight i’ve ever owned

Tape: Red tape
Might seem odd, but it literally saved my last trip. Doesn’t need to be a full roll either

and that’s my current travel carry. Curious if anyone else runs a setup specifically for international travel?
