I tested the current draw of the different colors of the button aux LED of my Sofirn SC13 Copper 3000k. All the runtime calcs assume an 1100mAh battery.
My only other light with aux LEDs is a TS10v2 and the low is fairly bright and high runs a battery down in a few days, so I keep it on low. I wanted to see if I could get away with high on the SC13 since the low is so dim on the button led. I think I'll keep in on low so I'm not losing runtime to the aux, but use yellow since that is bright-ish amongst the lows.
My first copper light and wow this thing is heavy. Also interesting how long it takes to heat up on turbo and once it's warm how long it stays warm after turning it off. I guess that's what you get from a big chunk of copper thermal mass.
