just got my first convoy light and when the battery is in the flashlight it reads 3 flashes (5 flashes for full) but dead on the charger? it reads 3.57 volts and i read a fully charged 21700 should be around 4.2 so shouldn’t it at least read over halfway charged?

This is how the battery check on Convoy 12 group drivers is configured:
Below 2.95V – 1 flash
2.95-3.25V – 2 flashes
3.25-3.55V – 3 flashes
3.55-3.85V – 4 flashes
Over 3.85V – 5 flashes
The normal operating range of a li-ion battery is 3.0-4.2v. Most devices will consider the battery ’empty’ at ~3.0v since further discharge can permanently damage the battery.
