Trying to fix this flashlight for a friend, and it's got me stumped. Since my reputation is on the line, I thought I'd ask reddit. Cleaned it up real good. Switch works, I've got good voltage out of the battery pack, good ground on the chassis all the way up to the head, but only getting a verrrrry weak dim "light" from the LEDs.
Want to test the head: Any ideas? Which part is of the head is ground and which part is hot?

try a different led… the switch may work but it could be toast, change the switch, try to power the led directly from a bench power supply if you have one
