Did my first ferric chloride etch and stone wash on my k390 Endela yesterday. Now I want to make the hardwares match the blade (only visible parts of the hardware). Im fairly certain the back lock bar can be etched the same way? But anyone knows what material the screws and pins are made of? The hardwares are not magnetic so I’m worried that they’re made of materials that I shouldn’t be etching with ferric chloride like aluminum or zinc.
If the hardwares cannot be ferric chloride etched. What would be the best option to get black hardwares for the Endela?
