My Sofirn SC28 lighting the way through the lava river caves outside of Flagstaff, AZ

I wouldn't call myself a flashlight hobbyist, but I do my research here when looking for new lights. I've had this Sofirn light for a couple of years now and have never really used it for anything more than things around the house or checking for critters when the dog goes out.

I put it to good use today though. The lava river caves are completely wild and have zero artificial lighting or smooth flooring like most tourist caves. The caves are about 3/4 mile long and are pitch black inside. My wife and I were the only ones there this morning. This little Sofirn put off plenty of light to feel safe while exploring the cave. I also had a little Nitecore NU11 clipped onto my hat for a secondary light source.
