Ordered from nealsgadgets with a discount code.

Grey aluminium in the 6500k, ordered a polished stainless in the nichia 4000k.

The 6500k is nice, has a greenish tint to the hotspot and the edges are slightly bluer. Not really noticeable during actual use but interesting.

4000k nichia is, as expected, excellent. Stainless is very dense, slightly more so than the grey aluminium version.

The sidelights are interesting. High mode is around 80lm, plenty to use as a small desk lantern or to carry while I grab a drink at night/go to the loo. Also makes me feel like frodo carrying the light of earendil.

There's a glow ring behind the frosted lens which is nice and bright, and the e-tritium feature is nice, however I've noticed when you lock the light with 8-clicks (calm down loop, 4 would have been plenty), they switch off. You may argue because you lock when you put it in your pocket, and as a result cannot see it, however it has a claimed run time of 2 years on etrit mode, I suspect it wouldn't have made a difference.

Verdict: ordered a titanium one. The titanium loopdot I have is my favourite, and it needs a friend to match.

🫘Shot, WB locked at 4500k as that looks closest to life. Wall is painted a shade of pale green, not white. Taken at medium brightness. Image of the SK05 and loopdot the sidelights are on low.

For me the issue is turbo and high are too far appart, and it holds turbo for very short time.

It was my EDC for a while until I got an SC65c.
