Thought this was cool until I realized it uses an SST-40 emitter. Which isn't a bad thing, but I already have a Sofirn SC31Pro and a Baton 4 and the beam profiles are pretty similar for TIR and reflector.
I'd prefer a SC18/WK03 over this as it's more compact and better UI.
Is the SST-40 5000K version of the WK03 worth checking out?

I am a fan of the WK03 (and the SC18). Nice, compact 18650 light. It really is one of my favorites for EDC. 1800 lumens, which is 50% more then our favorite – the FC11C.
And for $13, incl battery, I don’t see how you can go wrong.

Wk03/sc18 is basically a poor man’s olight baton pro. I use one daily for work. When on sale they are 15 or less as well with battery. It’s not magic but it’s compact and brighter than an fc11 by a little.
That’s a nice little light – it really surprised me.
I kept mine to support the project. I believe it’s a budget line from Wuben and I’m hoping they will develop it with a bigger range of products.
If you already know you like the WK03, then the SFT-40 5000k won’t disappoint you. Although it seems to be getting hard to find.
