I got the PD36R Pro as a birthday gift from my wife.

It's a straightforward EDC with a classic tube design, feels sturdy, I like the feel of the buttons, both have satisfying clicky sounds.

It has 2800 lumens, a bit less than it's direct competitor, Nitecore MH12PRO (3300 lumens… claimed).

It's less greenish compared to the MH12PRO, but, it has more green especially at low and medium modes compared to the Wurkkos HD02, even if they both have SFT70, I think HD02 is also just a bit colder than the 6500k.

The beam profile is somewhere in the middle between MH12 Pro (narrower hotspot) and HD02 (larger hotspot). All 3 lights have well defined hotspots.

PD36R Pro, compared to the E28R V2 that was a bit disappointing, is built better, very different feel.

It came with the clip already mounted (I keep it aligned with the secondary button but I don't use it otherwise), a nice lanyard, a holster (as first impression feels lower quality than Nitecore's holsters), spare oring, usb to usb-c cable (I see other brands moved to usb-c to usb-c cables instead) and a 5000mAh 21700 cell that, from what I see, is protected.

Overall a simple classic powerful EDC.
