Looking for a light to keep in my hunting bag for tracking deer blood trails. Im thinking something in the 3-4000k range? and has a good tight beam with a spill that will still be very usable. Should last over an hour on its brightest setting.

Drop links or tell me what you got!

Price not an issue.

Duel fuel would be a great cherry on top!

You probably need something that has high CRI, not necessarily 3000k tint.

There are not that many high CRI lights that can hold a super bright brightness for very long.

Super bright lights are usually low CRI, but there is one that I can think of, that comes close, that would be Acebeam e75 with the nichia 519a LEDs high CRI .

High cri will allow you to see blood on leaves easier than a low CRI light and this light can hold approximately 850 lumens for an hour and 40 minutes

Over an hour on brightest setting won’t happen because they will step down on temperature. Dual fuel not going to happen either. I use a Acebeam E75 with 519a 5000k along with a nice high CRI headlamp to blood trail. It’ll do 1000 lumens flat for about 2 hours and you can turbo to 3000 lumens if you need that.

It’s big enough to handle the heat it puts out and small enough that it doesn’t bother me in my hunting bag. It’s kind of the gold standard for floody sustained output in a reasonable package.

If you made me get one at 4000k or 3000k I’d probably get a firefly e04 surge with the 5009r 4000k emitters or Sft40 or sft70 3000k emitters.

Most blood trail lights are UV lights. So you could look into that route as well.

High CRI is good, but if you want to distinguish between red and brown or red and green, 3000K is too low. Better go with 4000-5000K.

Unrelated, but I just got my spotlighting permit from frieh and game so I can use thermals and night vision to hunt coyotes and raccoons. He informed my buddy and I that in our state tracking a deer after dark with any light is considered spot lighting and that anyone tracking a shot deer will get ticketed as if they were spotlighting the whole time.

😬 We didn’t know that and a LOT of others didn’t either.  Might want to check your states laws just to be safe as well.

That would suck to get in trouble for something dumb like that
