I had some nice fixies and carried a Benchmade for 10-15 years, but I don’t think I really got “into” knives until I tried some modern budget stuff and realized that pretty much all of these Chinese cheapies felt better than my old BM. So technically the Civivi Elementum II is what REALLY got me into it, even though I had some stuff before.
But my first decent knife was a Benchmade Mini Griptilian in D2.
