I’m not really into the shiny look of fresh copper, but I love the look of patina, so I decided to kickstart the process. The heat fins on the E04 are quite deep, and they hadn't started to patina at all compared to the rest of the head.

I set up a vinegar and salt chamber and hung the E04 over it for about an hour (until I liked the look of it), and then let it rest overnight.

The result turned out exactly how I wanted, not too much, but a great start to a nice patina, and the heat fins got some great color too.

Keep in mind, that the button and the USB-C cover don't get patina, as they are only copper-coated and not pure copper like the rest.
