They look identical but these 2 really sets itself apart. The white pro has more of a matte finish but the black x1 is more of the usual glossy aluminium.

Function wise, the x1 is a much better all in one. I always find the spot on the pro unnecessary and also weirdly it has bigger spill than the flood channel. On the x1, the only main emitter channel combined the best of the both white light channels on the pro – a bigger center hotspot and same spill size as on the spot channel on the pro

There is a very weird UI on the pros red channel and it is "fixed" here.

On the pro: hold for low to… Blink?! And double click to high/turbo.

On the x1: hold for low to high/turbo. Thank you. Double click to cycle between the RGB modes. Triple click to blink, and triple again for red blue flash, totally ignorable.

The uv is a flood. From 800nw and gradually steps down. Edc17 from Nitecore has a spot uv, it's amazing how the x1 is much smaller but have similar outputs.

I really like this one. Although I just recently got the oclip pro, this x1 may have made the pro obsolete? Not sure about the ultra. Afaik only difference between the pro and ultra are the red vs uv, and the oat material and a different case and dimensions.

However as we all know this is only around 580mah and no interchangable batteries. I needed to charge the light twice, just for testing and comparing it in a dark room. The form factor however is too handy as a city edc. Same reason why I also have two hd03 and love all 4 of them.
