Hey guys is this a real or fake Oz Roosevelt? Got it used, looks great but action seems off for its price range. Could it just need a tune up? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Fake. I don’t think Oz ever made this config in the standard size to my knowledge (but Jufule did). Weight should be sub 3oz on milled models.

check the bearings! its a dead giveaway

Where did you get it, and for how much?

Was the deal too good to be true?

The hardware looks a little off to me, but I’m no expert.

Definitely looks like a clone to me. I have multiple of both real and clones. That milling pattern was offered on the clones but not the real ones afaik.

Looks fake. The hardware looks wrong, that milling pattern shouldn’t be on a regular rosie, and the edge chamfers look wrong (bit too small) to me.

Edit: that serial number is from before that milling pattern even existed at all.

Looks fake. If you can disassemble I believe all the clones have a steel washer between the bearing and the scale.

If thats a reg size it 100% fake numbers way to low for that pattern

Oof. Doesn’t look good to me either man. Hope you didn’t pay full price for it, and if you did I hope you get restitution
