So I saw this add pop up for a Damascus “Blackfoot” for $1,000.00. And thought, who pays that much for a Damascus steel blade. It does have an ironwood burl handle, and an ostrich leather sheath. My question, would you rather have a USA made Damascus steel EDC fixie for a thousand bucks , or a Magnacut spartan fixed blade, with enough money left over to get a micro tech DLC Dirac delta OTF?

MKC is pretty commonly thought of as overpriced, even compared to similar US brands.
That being said, an actual custom knife made of quality damascus by a popular bladesmith would (and they often do) sell for more than $1k each.
So I’m not against the cost, just not for this particular item.
