Bougie banter arrived today. Whilst it felt a tad small I knew that would be the case. As soon as I flipped it open the first time I thought “meh”. Then disengaging the axis lock confirmed it. Gritty, sticky and not pleasant at all. Not to worry. Maybe a tweak and a bit of gunny glide will fix it.
I get out my Wiha Torx set and have a look at the pivot to see if I can guess the size as I always do……..totally stripped pivot. Supposedly brand new…….. emailed the supplier to let them know. They were great. Sent me a label to return but stated this has come straight from WE.
Epic QC………not.
Back to customs and high end midtechs I go.

Bummer to hear it. If you’re used to customs and midtechs, you’re likely used to carefully tuned frame and liner lock actions, so I’m not remotely surprised to hear a crossbar feels disappointing to you.
