I forgot to add but the insides don’t seem to have corroded as much. All found was this salt. I just brushed what I can with a dry paper towel. Not sure of the best way to clean it
Its not unsafe, assuming you’re using alkaline batteries, but it may not work
Alkaline batteries should be stored with, but not in, emergency use items including flashlights
I believe vinegar is recommended for cleaning
