TLDR: NLD test in a blackout
Tested from left to right at 75ft (first video). I progressed through the settings of each in order.
➡️Thrunite keychain with a who-knows how old nimh battery: moonlight, low, med, high.
➡️Streamlight microstream usb, fully charged but several years old: high, low
➡️Reylight Pineapple MkII: moonlight, low, medium, high.
➡️Acebeam Rider Rx 2.0 Ti “eagle edition“: “ultra low”, low, medium, high.
Backstory: I was looking for an upgrade to my front pocket light and was recommended several great lights. I immediately purchased the Acebeam and Reylight. I also have the pineapple mkiii ti and lanapple ti on the way. I must say, the pineapple blows the streamlight out of the water for my uses, and I wish I knew about it sooner.
Second video is just the difference backstage between the lowest setting off the pineapple and rider. No comparison-the pineapple wins for backstage use during a run. Looking forward to testing the other two Reylights as soon as they arrive.
(Can’t post two videos, but trust me that the backstage usefulness of the pineapple far outweighs the rider.)
