Who else loves combing thrift shops, and surplus stores for beer needing new homes? Found this one old American Eagle Y2K messenger bag, done up to look like an old school military musette set bag. And in an online thrift shop, I found this West German Bundeswehr shoulder bag. Both of them were in cherry condition, and received several treatments of Greenland wax. The AE bag got a couple snaps added to it to cinch up the sides where rain or splash water might get in.

Score. My papa had a small bag stamped US from Korea that he called a musette bag but all my research I can’t find another like it. Possibly a mass kit bag. Used to love that thing, played a lot of army with it. Something magical about that canvas and brass.
I had that second bag in high school. Actually, come to think of it I think it might still be in my attic. Used it heavily back in the late 90’s.
The big question is how much you pay for it?
