Probably because they never saw an Olight brand light at Home Depot/Lowes or at their local hardware store/bike shop/outdoor store.
Oddly enough, the only Olight lights I own are bike lights. The taillight I have is great, the “OLIGHT RN 120”, which isn’t made by Olight anymore. Now it’s made by Magicshine and is the SEEMEE model. Mine has logos for both Olight and Magicshine on it.
Anyway, it’s cool because it gets brighter when you slow down, so it acts like a brake light. I thought that was a pretty cool feature.
