Was looking for a hunting knife before deer season started and I remember seeing a post about the Grohmann knives and some commented they used and liked it for hunting. The history of the company and knife itself is pretty cool and being a maritimer I wanted one. They have a outlet store at their factory in Pictou NS and we were out that way anyways so I stopped in and got a #1 in carbon steel with sabre grind and a smaller bird and trout knife in high carbon stainless steel with a flat grind.
Use it to field dress and skin and wow seriously great knife design for hunting works so much better than the mora I was using until now. Would buy again great quality and great design.
