Hey all, I keep having the worst luck with pocket clips catching on things and bending. I've tried repairing a previous knives by bending the clip back and eventually snapped it (cheaper aluminum clip). Has anyone had luck fixing their pocket clip or would it be easier to just buy another clip?

Remove clip. Carefully bend back. Re-install.
It will likely be slightly weaker, but it will work.
If it’s a steel clip, you should be able to take it off, bend it back and get more life out of it. If it fails again, there are [titanium clips that fit the visionfg](https://www.lynchnw.com/civivi-elementum-clip?Category_Code=Clips).
Civivi has a great titanium clip. Look for the model that will fit the vizion on Amazon
Rarely happens to me, and when it does, bending it back works 100%.
I always just put it in a vice and tighten it. But taking it off and bending it is probably smarter
Unscrew it, flip the clip 180 and screw it back in place. Then bent it back. This is the way.
Bend it back?
remove, bend reinstall man
You can buy a pack of clips from the Civivi store and replace them when they get bent like this. A 2-pack is like $10.
take it off and pinch it back into place with a pair of pliers
Bend it back
Just bend it back
That’s funny that same knife did the same to me. I ordered a replacement clip from civivi. I Couldn’t get it bent back
Take it off and bend it back
put a set of vice grips about at the halfway point, just barely making contact with knife and clip. slowly tighten until closed to point you want it to
Bend it back.
The vision fg clip sticks out too much at the bottom to begin with, this is causing the snagging issue that leads to bent clips. They really should have softened the curve out at the bottom.
This happened on a Civivi of mine, I just got a whole different clip from another knife, that fit.

This is moe betta.
Unscrew it and bend it back!
That tip is going to snag every time. I would bend the tip down a little bit to stop it from happening again.
Unscrew the clip, bend it back, screw it back on. Better than new!
Don’t do that.
If you really like the knife invest in a better clip from a third party.
Take it off and bend it back. Likely to keep happenning, but it will work for a while.
Bend it back
I wanna know how it bent!
You can torch it a little bit and re-shape it, then torch it again cherry red and submerge it in oil, the first time the heat will weak the steel so you can give her original shape easy, the second heat and quench in oil will make it stronger, easy way?just buy another clip
Reach out to the manufacturer, I’ve had a few brands just send me new clips, or you can buy aftermarket clips.
