Snagged the Lite version cus I really love the design and Midway’s sale was too good to pass up.
I wanted to swap it with the OG scales and put the black drop point blade back in its G10, but somethings off and I can’t figure out what. The AD10 drop point blade had zero issues going between all of the scales, but the tanto Lite blade would just freeze up once open and only work in the grivory and G10 scales. Lock disengaged and still couldn’t get it to close in the OG scales. So some tolerance with the stop pin is off somewhere cus it kind of clicks into place without the lock bar touching it at all and required significant force to get it to close. Soooo swapped everything back and gave up on the Tanto in the OG scales. Instead I classed it up a smidge with the G10 scales and black clip from my drop point. I think I’ll try my hand at acid washing the tanto blade eventually. Such a cool knife, bummed I couldn’t get the OG scales to work with it though.
