Specs, ordered from oldest to newest, also same layout in the last pic:
Nitecore EC4S: 6500K XHP50, 18650×2 layout (I really like this side-by-side batteries, fits super well in your hand)
Emisar D4 Ti: 5-6000K XPL-HI, single 18650, somewhat warmer than the EC4S, don’t have the specs from when I got it. Was my daily driver for a loong time.
Lumintop Thor 1: 18350 (with optional 18650 tube) 400 lumen LEP, like 6-7000K, zero spill and 1200+m of throw. Super fun, my first stupid light with no good use for it.
Sofirn Q8 Pro: 5000K XHP50.2, 4×18650. Super useful light, and I like the build of this better than the next one.
Sofirn Q8 Plus: 5000K, XHP50.2, 3×21700. Also very useful, a bit simpler design used and a tad bigger, but more light and runtime. I accidentally bought this when I wanted the Pro, so I emailed Sofirn and they sent me a code for half of off the other one. So now I got two.
Acebeam E75: 5000K, 519a, 18650. Replaced my D4 as a daily light, very good driver and useful beam. Beautiful light from the 519a, although it looks green in the beamshots that’s because the tint on my phone is a bit off, and the FFL emitters are rosy af. Looks very natural IRL.
This is when I realized Convoy exists:
Convoy S2 x2: 18650, White one is 2700K 519a, had to try it out after I got the E75, very pleasant look, perfect as a bedside light for toilet trips, or to see what the hell the cat has found to play with tonight. Black is UV, pretty fun although outclassed by MiX7 later on.
Convoy L21B: 6000K, SFT40, 21700. Super useful thrower, small enough that you can carry it in large pockets, very “classic” flashlight beam with bright hotspot and perfectly round spill with a hard cutoff at the edges. Amazing runtimes as well.
Emisar D4v2 Cu: 3500K, 519a, 18650. I still needed more 519a’s, so I figured a revisit to Emisar was in order. This one has a boost driver, and excellent runtimes, and handles the heat surprisingly well.
Skillhunt MiX-7: 4500K, 519a + Red, Green, Blue and UV-emitters. Super fun little light, and replaced the E75 as a daily driver. Enough white light for short burst down manhole covers etc., and always fun with the colours and UV. The UV in this is stronger, or atleast better focused than the S2 UV, so I get this when I need some UV.
Convoy 3x21D: 5700K, SBT90.2, 3×21700(duh). I wanted a proper thrower, for when the L21B wasn’t enough and boy this thing throws. I does get hot, but is sustains more than enough light without overheating. Handles comes in handy as well, and fits both the Sofirn Q8’s too.
Sofirn IF23: 6-6500K XHP50.2, 21700, White+RGB-sidelight. Pretty fun light as well, although not used nearly as much as the MiX-7, simply due to size. Very fun for having nice ambient light, and you can regulate both the coloured and white sidelight’s strength.
Wurkkos FC11C: 4000K, 519a, 18650. Nice and efficient little light with the awesome 519a. I often bring this over the MiX-7 on shorter travels, as it doesn’t need a special cable for charging, and has better runtimes with the larger battery. The slim shape fits very well in most pockets, to the point that you forget it’s there.
Fireflies NovMu2: 4000K(rosy), FFL351D, 21700. So I heard of this new-ish company having some sweet emitters, and had to try it out. This is now my number 1 light for anything indoors, as the mule works perfectly for when you don’t need long range, and the tint and CRI is amazing on this.
Fireflies X4 Stellar: 4000K(rosy), FFL351, 21700. I needed more of the FFL351D, so I got this as well. As you can see in the pictures I did have a need for a lantern-ish light as well, and my current solution did not solve it lol. Amazing light, similar to D4(and v2), but better driver and (imo) better emitters. Fulfills a very similar role to the D4’s, but better.
Also I got a Convoy S6 with the W1 green, Skilhunt H04 RC and Emisar D1K with FFL707A 4000K rosy from JLHawaii, and custom paint from Blawdit on the way in the mail, with the latter being the light I’ve been most excited about so far lol.
