As the nights draw in now summer is over, I’m at work in the dark longer. Been lending flashlights to the guys doing walkarounds at night. Makes a big difference. This guy liked having a decent torch, it made his job easier and he looked and acted more professional while doing so. High CRI and tint isn’t important. Seeing an open panel or previously un-noticed damage is. We don’t just need a spotty light like this, we need something a bit floody too as we also need to do FOD checks before an aircraft arrives on stand. I’ve found the S21B with a 4000K B35AM to be very good at this so far. October we will start taking this more seriously. Lots of lights to go through.
