I’ve see people looking for advice on keys, keychains, and keybars etc.

The best change I’ve made in life is moving to a keypad for my door and only carrying my keyfob.

It’s also awesome when you go for walks and don’t want to carry house keys.

I keep a keychain for random keys in my car for the 1% of times I need another key, I might have used that once in the last 2 years.

I also have a key to the door keypad in case the battery were to die on me. I keep that in a locked box hidden away just in case.

For those who rent, you can swap the door lock in many cases in the exact same hole in about 15 minutes without any damage to the door. You’ll need to talk to landlord but it’s super simple and totally reversible.

  2. Agreed. Love keyless entry at home. Fob, wallet, phone, flashlight, knife and off I go.
