After an evening of mods, I wasn’t ready for how much work this would turn out to be. Hopefully you enjoy seeing the DM1.12’s insides! Once more I find myself questioning how on earth Hank and Jackson can bang these out at their standard without an army behind them!

My new colour-change DM1.12 came in recently and I decided I wanted that light to be the ‘warmer’ of the 2, so I removed the flood MCPCB from it, and my other one, to switch them.

#**3000K DM1.12**

The cerakoted DM1.12 now has SST20 2700/4000K mix on the flood channel, and I _absolutely_ love this. The way it looks, its metrics and how well it matches the SFT40 – as controversial an opinion as it is here, to this end, there wasn’t any need to pay the 519A up charge. Another light I have with 519A (3500K domed) measures 3246K, 0.0009.

The flood measures: **3323K, 0.0003 duv**
The throw measures: **3151K, 0.0015 duv**

**Too much positive duv? Here’s the results with 1pc Zircon 803:**

Flood: **2983, -0.0034 duv**
Throw: **2890, -0.0037 duv**

#**4000K DM1.12**

The MAO DM1.12 with the SST20 4000K was surprisingly clean, I hoped to match the tint with an SFT40 4000K in the throw channel – I figured this light is a worthy enough host of the couple I managed to get.

The flood measures: **3899K, 0.0020 duv**
The throw measures: **4141K, 0.0021 duv**

The throw channel appears slightly rosy when used together, possibly down to having the same duv at a slightly higher CCT. Still, the 2 channels blend very well.

**Still too much positive duv? Here’s the results with 1pc Zircon 803:**

Flood: **3547K, -0.0029 duv**
Throw: **3774K, -0.0034 duv**
