The edge on my small White River fixed blade is chipping pretty badly. Is this indicative of a bad heat treat, or have you seen this with other S35 bladesteel?
To be fair, I have gone more acute than factory with the edge angle.

judging by the scratches on the blade, i’m going to guess this didn’t come from “opening my mail” or “slicing open a bag of chips.”
