I recently started getting into flashlights (abt 4 hours ago lol) because I found a post on here showing the flashlight I was planning on buying (a nebo 5000) and it did not look good. I have decided to go with a d4v2 instead.
Here is the configuration i am looking at getting based on all the info I could find here:
# Flashlight
* D4v2 TI (Stonewashed) – Im torn between this an aluminum because the TI is so expensive but it looks much nicer
* 519A 5000k – Good balance between CRI and brightness
* Boost driver – Because I want a usable flashlight and I don’t need that extra brightness
* Raised switch retaining ring
# Battery:
* 18650 Vapcell INR18650 N40 4000mAh 10A High Discharge Flat Top (https://illumn.com/18650-vapcell-inr18650-n40-4000mah-10a-high-discharge-flat-top.html)
I mostly want to make sure that I am not going to burn down my house or (accidentally) light my pants on fire.
If anything is super wring with this config please let me know as i am planning on buying this within \~7 hours of this post as all this is on sale

As long as you remember to put it in lockout mode, you shouldn’t be burning anything down. It is possible that you might accidentally turbo it and burn a hole in your clothing, so just remember, 4C to lock it out.
